Locate a car
Finding a car is the action of spotting the position of a vehicle through geolocation. This is commonly used in case of loss or theft of the car. It also helps companies track their fleets. But for this to be possible, it must have installed a GPS tracker. Such a device uses a satellite guidance system. Satellites form a mesh in space and use cues for GPS navigators such as the GPS tracker car to determine a position. This is done through geographical coordinates, i.e. latitude and longitude of where they are located. Equipped with a microchip, the GPS beacon embedded in a car will pick up the signals emitted by satellites and calculateits its geographical position. Depending on the performance of the device, it can offer accuracy ranging from 5 to 10 meters. The GPS receiver can update its position every minute in case you do increased tracking. However, it is possible to set the time interval between each update for one hour. Note that the signal transmitted by satellites is quite weak. Thus, it cannot pass through buildings or metal.
