Is it necessary to have a phone subscription to be able to use a GSM hunting camera


On the face of it, a GSM hunting camera has all the applications of a classic hunting camera: it records videos and takes pictures. Thanks to a SIM card, GSM connects the hunting camera to other devices capable of reading images and camera recordings, i.e. a computer or a mobile phone. And this is made possible by a telephone subscription, as with communication between mobile phones.

Even without a subscription and without a SIM card, and therefore without the possibility of transmitting photos, a GSM hunting camera performs its functions. Whether or not a phone subscription requires depends on whether or not the user needs to receive the camera data in real time.
