Remote monitoring

Remote monitoring is remote monitoring. It is a matter of equipping a place with a surveillance system. As a general rule, this system is made up of surveillance cameras, motion or fire detectors, but also infrared cameras and especially an alarm. There are no human elements present at the site equipped with this system. All surveillance is done remotely, and action is only carried out in the event of a proven threat. To do this, users use the paid services of a remote monitoring company that takes care of installation, monitoring and response.

Methodology

To operate, telemonitoring companies offer services of choice. Monitoring devices are installed at the site to be monitored. If the detectors report a presence or intrusion, the signal is sent to the computer system of the monitoring centre that the customer paid for. Following the alarm, the centre will raise the doubt by calling the stationary number of the area under surveillance. If the signal is negative, a person will have picked up and given a secret code (or any other chosen confirmation mode). If this is not the case, the customer is contacted to report the problem. A security guard may also conduct a raid. In addition, the center can call the authorities (firefighters, police). But keep in mind that the service will be based on the established contract.

use

there Monitoring is used by companies that want to protect their premises but do not have a personal monitoring unit. Public services also use it, especially in public places (museum, train station, airport), on the street... Individuals also use it to protect their dwelling shome when they have to be away for a long time (holidays, various trips).  In general, remote monitoring is used to inquire about possible fire, burglary...
