Video format

The video format refers to a data file. Remember that a video is a succession of images to which we add sound and titles. These are metadata. When making a video, all the elements are placed and compressed into a file called the container. This will be the format that will be identified by name as AVI or FLV or others. The format of a video depends on the camera used. Analog cameras, for example, offer three kinds of video formats that are classified as standard especially for television. These are the NTSC, PAL and SECAM. As for the digital cameras that include the spy camera or the camera pen, the videos are encoded in different formats, including THE AVI, WMV MOV or FLV. Today, new technologies have brought new media, but also new video formats.


As far as type devices are concerned, micro spy camera, the images they usually offer are recorded in AVI format because it is the most convenient and widespread at present. Created by Microsoft for Windows, it is compatible with a PC. It is also supported by a large majority of video playback software.
