Image sensor

The image sensor is a component of a surveillance camera or hunting camera. The image sensor ensures at its level, the take and the quality of the images. 

Definition of image sensor

Any camera (camera and spy camera) is equipped with an image sensor. This object in the form of integrated circuits transforms the light energy of each point of the filmed subject into an electrical signal that will be transported into the recorder, for example camera alarm clock or the spy camera pendulum. This signal provided by the sensor will be converted into a digital signal following a linear relationship.

The elements of the image sensor

To ensure its role, the image sensor is composed of a bar, matrix and punctual sensor that allows it to immediately capture images by any camera whose pen camera or the camera lamp. The sensor is equipped with an electronic or mechanical device to scan the entire image taken, as an illustration, by a camera bezel or by a Wifi spy camera, pixel by pixel. Two technologies are used in video surveillance: the CCD (Charged Coupled Device) sensor and the CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) sensor, which is more suitable for connections with computers.

Sensor size and image quality
