Reach of sound

In theory, taking his is approached in two different ways. For some, the goal is to reproduce a sound scene as faithfully as possible. This concept was applied in the 1950s. For others, making sound means a recording that is only a step in the process of producing a "sound object" by referring to a theatrical text or music.

The range of a sound socket depends on the characteristics of the microphone (s). a Microphone which provides a signal that misinterprets a sound field does not allow for a quality recording. In addition to the quality criteria, it is advisable to opt for a type of microphone suitable for the use for which it is intended. Several factors come into play, such as capsule size, transduction principle and directivity.

These principles apply to a micro spy cameraa micro spy usb or a micro spy cle usb. The directivity allows to determine the direction in which to steer the microphone for a better recording of the sound. It can be:

- Omnidirectional: dedicated to ambient shots, because it allows you to receive all sounds 360 degrees.

- Two-way: to record sounds coming from the front and back (for interviews).

- Cardioid: this kind of microphone only picks up sounds coming from the front. It is designed for singing.

- Hyper cardioid: it displays the same characteristics as cardioid, but it can record sound from the back.

- Canon: used for a sound on pole, it records only the desired noise by isolating particular sounds. When shooting a film, he only records the dialogues.
