LED

LED is an abbreviation for Light-Emitting Diode. It refers to an electronic component capable of emitting light when powered by an electrical current.  These light-emitting diodes are usually found on TV or computer screens. They are also present on lamps designed in recent years and will surely replace the incandescent lamp in the years to come.

Indeed, LED technology is appreciated for its low energy consumption. An LED bulb consumes 10 times less than a regular bulb while it generates a powerful light of about 100 lumens per watt. Not to mention that it has a long lifespan.

There are different kinds of LEDs classified according to their power. The classic DIP smart LED designed for ambient or decorative lighting is distinguished because of its low light output. The latest generation DIP smart LED is suitable for outdoor use because it offers a wider scattering angle. The SDM LED is more powerful and with an angle of 140 degrees. As for the High Power smart LED, it offers superior brightness, ideal for projectors and spots. Finally, the most efficient is the COB smart LED. There is also the infrared LED that is commonly found on the hunting camera or the spy camera night vision. This is a type of static lighting that sends light with a wavelength greater than visible light.  This technology allows devices such as theCamera clock or the spy camera alarm clock to have excellent night vision with black and white recordings.
