Digital audio recorder

"Digital audio recorder" is another name for "digital recorder." By definition, it is a device that can capture and record sounds (noises and conversations combined).

Digital, because they no longer use audio cassettes to record, but memory cards. Today, most audio recorders use these maps.

Audio means that the registration file is in .mp3 or .wave format although the patent for a format specially designed for these devices, the .dss, has already been filed by a group of manufacturers.

Thedigital audio recorder is very close to the Dictaphone, but they should not be confused. Indeed, their difference lies in the level of their use. We use the dictaphone to capture and record a discussion, lyrics. The digital audio recorder, on the other hand, also records discussions, but also any other type of sounds (ambient noise, music). In fact, an audio recorder has several possibilities for use and, above all, better rendering.

use

The digital audio recorder is used in situations where it is necessary to take audio notes and transcribe everything afterwards: journalistic interview, working meeting, course...

They can also be used for supposedly illegal uses such as spying on the conversation of others.
